Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled pipes tradesperson with experience in light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, pipefitting, and HVAC, with a minimum of five years of practical working experience in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and retrofitting mechanical equipment, as well as overseeing the installation of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and retrofit mechanical equipment, including pipes, fittings, and valves.
- Oversee the installation of projects, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
- Plumbing/Gasfitter, Pipefitter, HVAC strong 4th year or Journeyperson status.
- Experience in Prime retrofit Mechanical projects.
- Valid driver's license, appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, boilers, and steam operational & service knowledge.
- Pass criminal record checks for secure sites.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to oversee the installation of a project.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in installing and retrofitting mechanical equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of light commercial /commercial HVAC / mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Experience in construction and service projects.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the mechanical systems.
- Plumbing/pipefitting Certifications.
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
