About the Role

GTR Brothers Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and test repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Parts and Labour Estimation: Accurately estimate parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance services to prevent breakdowns and ensure vehicles are road-ready.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
