Job Title: Truck Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The Truck Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our trucking fleet, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review production reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Train and supervise a team of 5-10 people to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panels to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the work environment is safe and healthy
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team player with excellent leadership skills
