The ideal candidate will have 1-6 months of experience in a pharmacy setting and a high school diploma or equivalent. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists with administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter client information into databases accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure timely and effective patient support
- Maintain prescription records and inventory levels
- Prepare medications for clients as per prescriptions
- Order and maintain equipment and supplies to optimize pharmacy operations
- Billing third-party insurers for services rendered
- Maintaining organized inventory and claims processing for health insurance and workers' compensation
- Work collaboratively to meet customer needs and expectations
- Perform other duties as required by management
