The Role

As an In Vivo Technician for our Toxicology team in Sherbrooke, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare of the animals and the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Performing technical tasks such as administering test drugs, collecting blood samples, and maintaining living conditions for the animals.
  • Observing animals and collecting data from our studies, including body weight, food consumption, and other vital signs.
  • Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and cleanliness in our facilities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A college diploma or degree in Animal Health, Environmental and Wildlife Management, Biotechnology, Biology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of written English.
  • Excellent observation skills.
  • The ability to work physically, lifting up to 20 kg, walking, standing, and stooping.
