Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Folasade Wenegieme. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare to infants and children in a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide childcare services to infants and children in a safe and healthy environment
  • Develop and implement daily routines and activities to promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks to children
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including cleaning and organizing the living space
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure the needs of children are met
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, meals, and health information regarding children
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance childcare skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, time management, patience, and honesty
Work Environment

The Home Childcare Provider will work in a non-smoking environment and will be required to travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
