Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Booster Juice. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Establish work schedules
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
Support for Indigenous People
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
Work Environment
  • Permanent
  • English
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
