Job Title: General Store Labourer

Spruce It Up Garden Centre Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and energetic General Store Labourer to join our team. As a General Store Labourer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and load products from delivery trucks
  • Move merchandise around the store to ensure optimal display and accessibility
  • Assist customers with carrying products to their vehicles after purchase
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Perform basic janitorial duties
  • Assist with miscellaneous general store labour tasks
  • Work effectively in a team environment or independently as needed
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays if required
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Be punctual and reliable in attendance
Requirements:
  • Must have experience operating a skid steer
  • Strong customer service skills are essential
  • Lift up to 50-100 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
