We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations and Data Analytics Manager to join our team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our AML Operations and Analytics team, you will play a vital role in supporting data-related projects and initiatives.

About the Role

The AML/ATF department within Compliance is responsible for managing the Bank's AML/ATF risk through effective controls. In this role, you will oversee database management and design, manage ETL processes, ensure data completeness and accuracy, and identify data gaps. You will support ongoing and future projects by ensuring the AML team operates with reliable and robust data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management Initiatives: Ensure AML team access to reliable data and represent the team on all data-related matters.
  • Database Management and Design: Oversee and implement database design, implementation, and maintenance for optimal performance and reliability.
  • ETL Processes: Manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows for accurate and efficient data transfer between systems.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data completeness and accuracy by identifying and addressing gaps or missing information.
  • Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to uphold data integrity and meet regulatory standards.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor team members on best practices for data management and utilization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or IT, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a database-related role, such as Database Administrator (DBA), Data Architect, ETL Developer, SQL Developer, or Database Manager.
  • Working knowledge of database management and design.
  • Proficient in SQL and Azure Databases.
  • Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and handle multiple competing priorities.
