Newworld Cabinets Ltd is seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all woodwork and finishes meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs for woodwork and finishes, using measuring tools and software.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Survey building locations and levels.
  • Instruct apprentices.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in the trade.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours of work per week.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The position requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
