Carpenter Job Description

Linos Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Survey building locations and levels to ensure accuracy.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
