Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sutton Apothecary. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing prescriptions, and collaborating with our pharmacists to ensure efficient dispensary and pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process refill prescriptions electronically and respond to inquiries from home operators, residents, and care teams.
  • Manage inventory of injectables and products, and coordinate delivery and shipping services as needed.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to provide efficient dispensary and pharmacy services, and work within the scope of practice as dictated by provincial and federal laws.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, residents, and members of the care team, ensuring superb service at all times.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician is an asset.
  • Exceptional and professional customer service skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work both independently and collaborate with the pharmacy team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) in good standing.
  • Experienced Pharmacy Assistant with minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmacy servicing long-term care and/or group homes.
  • Advanced experience in the billing & third-party adjudication on Kroll.
