Engineering Design Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team at SPH Engineering Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, working closely with our engineers and production specialists to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering and production teams to establish product requirements, consult on design specifications, and ensure that our products meet customer needs.
- Technical Writing: Write technical reports, specifications, and other documentation to support our design and production processes.
- Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
As a Mechanical Draftsperson at SPH Engineering Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
