About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team at SPH Engineering Inc. as a key member of our design and development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings for mechanical systems and equipment
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and specifications for construction projects
  • Conduct thorough examinations of drawings for conformity and errors
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements and specifications
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for mechanical systems and equipment
  • Write technical reports and specifications for mechanical systems and equipment
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting and design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
