Job Opportunity: Veterinarian, Critical Care

Alta Vista Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled Veterinarian to join our team in Ottawa, ON. As a successful candidate, you will be part of a collaborative environment that fosters professional growth and a balanced lifestyle.

  • A valid Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, enabling practice in Canada
  • A member in good standing of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO)
  • Experience working in a 24-hour emergency facility
  • Strong leadership skills combined with a positive team player attitude
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and comfortable with routine emergency surgeries
  • Exemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with clients
  • Strong organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure
  • Ability to handle working shift work that includes days, overnights, weekends, and holidays

About Alta Vista Animal Hospital

We are a busy and growing multidisciplinary hospital with a 24-hour Emergency Service, General Practice, and a team of six experienced specialists. Our hospital is located 20 minutes south of the vibrant downtown Ottawa Market, offering a range of amenities and attractions.

We operate out of a 24,500-square-foot facility, with a large referring veterinarian community and a full suite of on-site diagnostic imaging.
