About the Position

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as ATB Loaders and Supervisors in Alberta's forest areas. These roles involve collaborating with experienced professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of airtankers during wildfires.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct routine maintenance of facility and grounds, including workshops and operational buildings.
  2. Perform inspections and tests on aircraft fuel quality, recording results and reporting any issues.
  3. Work closely with the Air Attack Officer to coordinate airtanker dispatch and ensure smooth operations.
  4. Lead a team of up to three ATB Loaders, assigning tasks and ensuring effective collaboration.
  5. Develop and implement strategies for maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the safety of personnel.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as wildland firefighting, forestry, or environmental science.
  • Proven experience in wildfire suppression, preferably with a focus on airtanker operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications and other relevant software.
