Nursery and Greenhouse Manager

The Satwant Pannu team is seeking an experienced Nursery Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the RoleThis permanent position involves overseeing the daily operations of our nursery and greenhouse facilities. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in all aspects of plant production and care.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient operation of the nursery and greenhouse.
- Plan and estimate labor and materials required for plant production and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of plant growth, inventory, and equipment usage.
- Repair and maintain equipment as needed to prevent downtime and optimize production.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies in a timely manner to meet production needs.
- Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- 1-2 years of experience in a nursery or greenhouse setting.
- Degree in Horticulture or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to work in a hot, dusty environment with exposure to heavy loads and physically demanding tasks. A valid driver's license and willingness to relocate are also requirements for this position.
Benefits- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
