About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at DPS Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids, measuring, cutting, and fitting drywall sheets, and ensuring a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to work under pressure, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Client focus, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and team player skills
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week
Language and Work Term

The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
