About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at SUMAIR DRYWALL LTD. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a high-quality finish.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, taking into account the specific requirements of each project.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists, ensuring a stable and secure installation.
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets, requiring precision and attention to detail.
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often in various locations. You will be exposed to dusty and noisy conditions, requiring physical stamina and the ability to work in a team.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Ability to work in a team and maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, handling weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and performing repetitive tasks.
Language and Work Schedule

The primary language of work is English, and the work schedule is 40 hours per week.
