At Canada Inc., we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Baby Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and integration of newcomers and refugees into our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, providing essential settlement services and facilitating their integration into Canadian society.
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing, to ensure a smooth transition for our clients.
  • Support social and labour market integration by facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, and other essential services.
  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to rebuild their lives.
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees, promoting cultural understanding and exchange.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for all employees, including Indigenous workers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations, promoting cultural competency and awareness.
  • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

We offer a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week, and the language of work is English.
