Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Coordinator to join our team at Keethanow Gas Bar in La Ronge, SK.



About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance department, including organizing financial documents, preparing general ledgers, and managing accounts receivable and payable.


Key Responsibilities



  • Organize filing of all financial documents, including POs and vendor files;
  • Prepare general ledger and post journal entries and trial balance;
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payment and follow-up on outstanding balances;
  • Assist with preparations of financial statements and bank reconciliations;
  • Invoice clients and respond to inquiries;
  • Perform monthly A/P processing, reporting, and quality assurance functions;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements


To be considered for this role, you must have:



  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a college diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting being an asset;
  • 1-2 years' experience in finance industry;
  • Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting software;
  • Advanced proficiency with SAGE accounting software and spreadsheet programs;
  • Effective attention to detail and high degree of accuracy;
  • Punctual, honest, and reliable; and
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.


Compensation and Benefits


We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage, and opportunities for professional development.
