Poultry Farm Operations Role

This position is part of P&H New Life Mills, a Canadian-owned manufacturer of livestock nutrition since 1964. As a Farm / Barn Labourer, you'll be working on our New Life Mills division based in Crawford, ON.

P&H New Life Mills is a leading provider of high-quality feed for various livestock species. Our commitment to species management, nutrition, and production excellence is driven by a team of experts dedicated to delivering the best possible inputs, feed, and services.

Our company-owned farms facilitate responsible nutrition and species management research, and our strict quality assurance/quality control program supports our FeedAssure certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment, including tractors and ventrac.
  • Perform day-to-day poultry farm operations, including animal care and husbandry.
  • Manage record-keeping, including monitoring equipment, feeders, and other farm-related tasks.
  • Participate in mechanical, property, and yard maintenance tasks.

Requirements
  • Experience in general labour.
  • Ability to work some weekends and holidays, and participate in on-call alarm coverage.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in farming.
  • Experience in operating tractors and other farming-related equipment.
