Job Summary

Fraser Health is a leading healthcare provider in British Columbia, serving a diverse population of over two million people. As the Regional Division Head of Anatomic Pathology, you will play a critical role in leading a team of medical professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual operating objectives for the Regional Division
  • Communicate effectively with division members, keeping them informed about division objectives, policies, and activities
  • Establish standards of clinical practice for the Regional Division and ensure members work within established standards
  • Recommend clinical and procedural privileges for medical staff appointments, renewals, and modifications
  • Encourage continuing medical education and facilitate programs for division members
  • Chair division meetings and promote a healthy, respectful workplace
  • Investigate and document complaints regarding care provided by division members
  • Contribute to the search and selection of applicants for vacancies in the division
  • Establish a quality assurance/quality improvement structure and program for the Regional Department
