Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staffing Officer to join our team at Intercast Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, providing information and services to employees, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective staffing strategies to meet business needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management
  • Recruit and hire staff, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce
  • Coordinate selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent
  • Collect and screen applicants, ensuring a thorough and fair selection process
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for hiring
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement staffing policies and procedures
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and human resources software
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of remote and in-office work. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
