About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Enhanced Care Centre team in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. As a Part Time LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and regular health assessments to maintain patient quality of life.
- Support the development of individualized care plans that focus on the patient's functional abilities and support network.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of patients.
- Ensure compliance with the Philosophy of Service and patient care plan to ensure optimal health and wellness for each patient.
- Manage patient medication in accordance with legislative requirements.
About You:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN who possesses a Diploma in Practical Nursing and is currently registered with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing. You should have comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
