Xorosoft is seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support to users, with a focus on resolving complex issues related to computer systems and software.

About the Job

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will work 30-40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate user needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • User Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software applications, and network connectivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify and resolve complex technical issues, utilizing various resources such as user guides, technical manuals, and online documentation.
  • Training and Guidance: Offer training and guidance to users on how to use software applications, computer systems, and other technology-related tools.
  • Log Management: Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions, ensuring that knowledge is shared among technical support analysts and improving overall response times.
  • Infrastructure Development: Participate in the design and implementation of new infrastructure projects, including the setup of equipment and configuration of software applications.
  • Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with users at all levels.
  • Proficiency in a variety of software applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Windows and Office.
