Pest Control Technician Job Description

Pestisect Pest Control Inc is seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, providing estimates of costs, and determining the type of treatment required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation
  • Provide estimates of costs and determine the type of treatment required
  • Prepare and spray chemical mixtures on infested areas
  • Place and set traps to capture and remove animals
  • Install animal control barriers to keep animals off property
  • Clean out areas that harbor pests
  • Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position with 33 to 40 hours of work per week. The work environment is physically demanding, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
