Pest Control Technician Job Description

Pestisect Pest Control Inc is seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, providing estimates of costs, and determining the type of treatment required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Identify Infestations: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outside areas to detect signs of pest infestations.
  • Provide Estimates and Recommendations: Provide clients with detailed estimates of costs and recommend the most effective treatment options.
  • Treatment and Prevention: Prepare and apply chemical mixtures to infested areas, place and set traps to capture and remove animals, and install barriers to prevent future infestations.
  • Client Education and Support: Educate clients on how to prevent pest infestations and provide ongoing support to ensure their satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Physically demanding work environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
