Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all sales and customer service goals are met.
Responsibilities:
* Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to meet sales and customer service goals
* Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
* Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that customers have access to the products they need
* Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines
* Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience
* Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions
* Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
* Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is well-organized and that customers can easily find the products they need
* Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts
Work Environment:
* Retail business
* 40 hours per week
* Work Term: Permanent
* Work Language: English
