Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Easton's Group of Hotels. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hotel's linens and uniforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen according to standard operating procedures.
- Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers, following all safety practices.
- Inspect linen on a regular basis for tears, holes, or sub-standard conditions and report any issues to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Notify the supervisor of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, or damaged linens to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Maintain the assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Empty lint traps after each load to ensure the safety of the equipment and building.
- Follow all hazardous chemical procedures.
- Assist in a daily refill of clean linens, amenities, and supplies in stock rooms on each floor.
- Assist the department in maintaining safety equipment and emergency procedures for the safety of all guests and employees.
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous manner at all times.
- Minimum of 1 year's work experience in cleaning and/or housekeeping and the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Must be efficient and thorough.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
- Strong oral communication skills are required.
- Must be energetic, possess good time management skills, and be eager to grow and develop as part of a team.
