Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lighting Technician to join our team at Orange Frog Productions Inc.

About the Job

This is a permanent position, requiring 80 to 88 hours of work per bi-weekly period. The ideal candidate will have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff, including apprentices, stagehands, and design team members
  • Set up, operate, and make repairs to light and other electrical equipment
  • Project manage lighting installations and maintenance
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities
  • Operate forklifts and load/unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Maintain log books and document work completed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in lighting technology
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation or access to public transportation
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
