Job Opportunity: Global Security Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Security Leader to join our team as an Associate Director, Executive Protection. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our employees worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security plans for executive trips and events
  • Provide primary response to security incidents involving designated employees or events
  • Conduct threat risk assessments, security planning, and operational implementation
  • Manage emergency situations, including security threats, natural disasters, medical emergencies, and travel logistics
  • Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless security operations
  • Project manage security-related projects to ensure timely and effective delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven years of experience in physical security, with a focus on executive protection
  • Excellent understanding of threat risk assessments, security planning, and security operations
  • Experience working in multiple geographic locations, with a strong understanding of global security dynamics
  • Knowledge of the law enforcement community, the Criminal Code of Canada, and related statutes
  • Diplomatic skills and proven competency to interact with all levels of management while maintaining security professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to recognize and respond to security breaches, with a focus on personnel and site security
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across various lines of business
  • Solid understanding of risk mitigation strategies and the ability to adapt to changing environments
