Join Our Team as a Senior In-House Counsel

We are working with a major national company, a well-known household name brand, to find an experienced In-house lawyer to support their General Counsel.

This is a broad generalist in-house position where you'll be advising the business on a wide range of legal and compliance matters.

The legal team is embedded in the company as a true business partner, and they are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with the business.

You will need to have previous in-house experience, a strong contracts background, and ideally some exposure to privacy, compliance, and risk management matters.

While not necessary, exposure to franchise work would be an asset, as would French language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising the business on legal and compliance matters
  • Supporting the General Counsel in their role
  • Working closely with the business to identify and mitigate risks

Requirements:

  • Previous in-house experience

  • Exposure to privacy, compliance, and risk management matters
