Production Manager

The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production team, overseeing the performance of staff, and driving efficiency and quality throughout the production process. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate and inspire staff, and a customer-first attitude that promotes a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to ensure individual and team goals are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality, working closely with management and technical leads to drive results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the production process.
- Provide technical input and support to the development of technical documents, including Standard Work Instructions, Process Procedure Sheets, and troubleshooting manuals.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment that meets or exceeds regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Provide backup support to senior supervisors during vacation periods or other absences, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for post-secondary education in business, food science, or technical trades.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in the food manufacturing sector, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff, promote a customer-first attitude, and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
