Job Title: Grocery Store Team Lead
Job Summary:
Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grocery Store Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our grocery department, ensuring a high level of customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate a team of associates to achieve sales and customer service goals
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and replenishment of merchandise
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all health and safety policies and guidelines
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and stockroom organization
Requirements:
- Proven leadership and management experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong merchandising and analytical skills
- 1-3 years retail management experience or equivalent Giant Tiger experience as a keyholder

While performing the duties of this job, you can expect to:
- Stand and/or walk

- Perform tasks involving firm grasping
- Perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions
- Reach above shoulder height and below waist level
- Operate equipment, including using a ladder
