We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Site Supervisor to join our team at Monarch Paving (2016) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Project Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role:

  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, taking into account factors such as labour, equipment, and materials.
  • Prepare production reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit, hire, and train workers to ensure adequate staffing levels and skill sets.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, including creating and implementing project plans.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Requisition materials and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory and minimize delays.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Train or arrange for training to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in construction supervision, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on trade-related subjects.
