Job Title: Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in the Mining and Metals Process Department. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of process designs, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review process designs, including process plant material balance, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, plant layouts, technical specifications, and technical evaluations
  • Manage cross-disciplinary teams to ensure the cost-effective, safe, and timely completion of projects
  • Liaise with clients on technical matters and present reports, publications, and presentations in a professional manner
  • Prepare capital and operating expenditure assessments
  • Train and share experience-based insights with younger engineers
  • Participate in business development and corporate growth activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering
  • Registered as a professional engineer
  • More than 7 years of experience in gold, iron, green energy materials (lithium, graphite, etc.), or base metal operations and/or design
  • General areas of expertise: Metallurgical test work planning/analysis, crushing, grinding, flotation, hydrometallurgy, water treatment, gravity separation, pressure oxidation, heap leaching, CIL/CIP, and electrowinning/refining
  • Strong track record of successfully completing projects in the mining industry
  • Available for occasional travel to domestic and international destinations
  • Enthusiastic and business development/corporate growth mindset
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and process simulation software
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written (English and French)
