About the Role

Fahel and Co Inc. is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings, as well as making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contractor Management: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, and perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks, and move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Other Duties: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and work with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 44 hours per week.
