Senior Solutions Analyst, IT Enterprise Applications

Nutrien Ag Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Analyst to join our IT Enterprise Applications team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and documenting current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead or collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs, ensuring they are functional and free of defects.
- Lead and act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, providing leadership and guidance.
- Lead complex projects or multiple initiatives, often involving large-scale systems and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and train junior analysts, guiding them through the analysis phase and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Play a key role in decision-making and project direction, influencing strategic discussions.
- Ensure successful project delivery from initiation to completion, maintaining quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Maintain accurate documentation on systems, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, applying new knowledge to enhance business operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support solution implementation and adoption.
- Analyze metrics and collaborate with teams on reporting improvements and design of data cubes.
- Design integrations between Nutrien's internal systems and other external systems.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years practical experience in application solution design and analysis, with a deep understanding of industry and solution practices.
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related equivalent.
- Familiar with design-thinking approach to problem solving and AGILE methodologies.
- Proven expert capability and experience managing requirements gathering initiatives across multiple teams and business areas.
- Hands-on expertise in functional solution design and delivery across a software development lifecycle.
- Effective with creative solutioning and communication to influence and facilitate resolution of a problem/business challenge.
- Negotiation skills when appropriate.
- Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently or as a team with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Willingness to learn, teach and share information with teammates, peers, management, and users.
- Able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize solution development efforts.
- Results-driven individual who thrives on new challenges and opportunities.
