Oncologic Pathologist Position

BC Cancer is seeking an experienced Anatomic Pathologist with expertise in diagnostic oncologic pathology and related translational research to further support BC Cancer's mandate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for central oncologic pathology reviews and consultation services, as well as participating in teaching residents, postgraduate trainees, and undergraduate medical students.

Collaborative research with basic scientists, oncologists, and the industry is well established, and all members of our medical staff are encouraged to pursue clinical, translational, or fundamental research related to cancer in addition to their service work.

Applicants should have Royal College certification in Anatomic Pathology, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
