About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Artistic Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscape construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Train, and Supervise Staff: Lead a team of 11-15 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Project Planning and Management: Plan and direct grounds maintenance, labor, and materials to meet project requirements.
  • Construction and Maintenance: Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
  • Quality Control: Maintain work records and logs, and ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Materials and Equipment Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient project completion.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field.
  • Work Environment: The role requires working outdoors in hot conditions.
  • Physical Demands: The position involves physically demanding work, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
