About the Opportunity:

The Office of the Registrar at the University of Toronto Mississauga is seeking an Academic Advisor to provide academic advising services to undergraduate students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising students on developing their educational plans
  • Staying informed on university programs, policies and procedures
  • Interpreting academic regulations, program and degree requirements
  • Providing guidance on academic and financial matters
  • Delivering presentations to promote programs and opportunities
  • Providing support to individuals in distress and making referrals to specific university services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum four years' experience in a high-pressure, direct student services environment
  • Experience advising students on undergraduate academic requirements, policies and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment to teamwork

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $79,874.00-$102,147.00 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Location:

This position is located at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus.
