Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team at the Lobby Restaurant and Lounge. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking and serving food and beverage orders, and preparing all beverages for the restaurant and private dining.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent guest service in the Lobby Lounge
  • Take and serve food and beverage orders
  • Prepare all beverages for the restaurant and private dining
  • Set up and tear down the bar and lounge tables
  • Record sales accurately in Micros P.O.S. system
  • Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations and legislation
  • Work safely at all times
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation to the Hotel safety program
  • Be health and safety conscious and involved in maintaining a safe work environment
  • Comply with Pinnacle Hotel policies and code of ethics

Requirements:

  • Must have "Serving It Right" certificate
  • Previous experience both Server and Bartender (Min. 1 year)
  • Ability to handle high volume of business
  • WSET and/or mixology certifications considered assets
  • Must be well self-motivated, responsible, organized
  • Have excellent communication and guest services skills
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
