Job Title: Bartender

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bartender to join our team at the Lobby Restaurant and Lounge. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for guests
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the bar and lounge areas
  • Record sales accurately in the Micros P.O.S. system
  • Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations and legislation
  • Work safely at all times and participate in the Hotel safety program

Requirements:

  • Serving It Right certificate
  • Previous experience as a Server and Bartender (minimum 1 year)
  • Ability to handle high volume of business
  • WSET and/or mixology certifications considered assets
  • Excellent communication and guest services skills
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting – under 20 lbs
  • Carrying – over 20 lbs
  • Pulling – over 20 lbs – bending, standing, reaching, and kneeling
