Job Title: Plumbing Specialist

Spark Power is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team in Hamilton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to identify and repair leaks, clogs, and other issues in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of damaged components.
  • Perform general preventive maintenance of buildings, industrial systems, and equipment, including pumps and various plumbing fixtures.
  • Conduct pressure tests and leak tests to ensure the integrity and safety of plumbing systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training in plumbing.
  • Relevant experience working as a plumber in an industrial setting preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of industrial plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Required to work in industrial and outdoor environments, with physical demands including frequent to occasional lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching.
