ERP Program Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ERP Program Director to lead our SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive plan for the implementation, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for the SAP S/4HANA implementation
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and gain buy-in for the ERP project
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of project managers, functional consultants, technical experts, and external vendors to deliver the ERP solution on time and within budget
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and consulting partners to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate user adoption of the new ERP system
  • Establish processes and metrics to monitor the quality of deliverables throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP ERP implementation projects, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA, including hands-on experience with implementation methodologies and migration tools
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
