Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing services to patients in a nursing home/home for the aged setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient assessment and care planning procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:- Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
- Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
- Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
- Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
- Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Chancellor Park, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of healthcare professionals. You will be required to work under pressure and have excellent time management skills.
