Key Responsibilities- Provide daily personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist residents with their daily needs, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition to the healthcare team.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and implement care plans as directed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institution.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
This is a term position that may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
