Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Manoir Caledonia. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring our clients receive nutritious food.
  • Assist with medication administration, following established protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a care-giving role an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
