Neurosurgery Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a key member of our Neurosurgery Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure excellent outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Provide primary and specialty care to patients in the Neurosurgery Unit
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
* Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses to determine the best course of treatment
* Develop and implement treatment plans, including ordering diagnostic tests and medications as needed
* Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
Requirements
* Master's degree in Nursing or related field
* Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC)
* Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a Neurosurgery Unit
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
